Xamia Tools ("we", "us", or "our") operates this website and its browser-based tools. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Summary
- Files you select are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us.
- We do not require an account and do not ask for your name or payment details.
- We do not currently use analytics or set advertising cookies.
- If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Files and tool inputs
Images, text, numbers, and other inputs you enter into a tool are processed locally on your device using JavaScript and, where needed, WebAssembly. They are not transmitted to our servers or to any third party by the tools. We cannot access, view, or recover your files. When you close or reload the page, the working data is cleared from memory by your browser.
Information you provide
You can use every tool without creating an account. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any technical details you choose to include. That information is used only to read and respond to your message, to fix reported problems, and to keep a record of the correspondence where necessary.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as an IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention, and are retained according to the hosting provider's policy. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
The tools do not require cookies. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies at this time. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security features such as bot protection or load balancing. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under most privacy laws.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense in the future to help cover hosting and development costs. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. You can also review Google's partner sites policy and cookie information in Google's privacy documentation. We do not currently serve ads or set advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Analytics
We do not currently use analytics. If we add analytics in the future, we will choose a privacy-respecting option, update this policy, and request consent first where the law requires it.
Legal bases and your rights
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for responding to messages, maintaining the security of the site, and operating the service. Depending on your location, including the EEA, the UK, Canada, and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
The tools themselves do not create personal data records. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will delete it unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data retention
Files and tool inputs are not retained by us. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle the request. Hosting logs are retained by the hosting provider according to its own policy.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information by email.
Children's privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us so it can be removed.
Third-party links
Pages may link to third-party websites, including advertising and privacy resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will be described on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
