About Xamia Tools

Xamia Tools is an independent collection of free, browser-based utilities. It started with a simple frustration: most online tools ask you to upload a private file to an unknown server just to change its format or size. That trade-off is unnecessary for many everyday jobs.

What you will find here

The site is organised into three sections. Image tools convert and compress photos, and combine pictures into a PDF. Calculators cover mortgage payments, loan payments, percentages, and hourly-to-salary conversions. Everyday utilities include a QR code generator, a word and character counter, a case converter, a time zone converter, and a JSON formatter.

Each tool is built for a specific task rather than a long list of unrelated features. That keeps the pages fast and the instructions short.

How the tools work

Every tool runs in your browser using JavaScript and, where needed, WebAssembly. When you choose a file, it is read locally by your device. There is no upload endpoint, no storage bucket, and no server-side copy of your image or document. When you close the page, the working data is gone.

The site is built with Astro and vanilla JavaScript. Heavy processing libraries are loaded only after you start using a tool, which keeps the first page load small. The source is deliberately simple so the tools are easy to audit and maintain.

How the site stays free

Xamia Tools is free to use. Hosting and development costs may be covered by advertising in the future. Advertising will never change which tools are listed or how results are calculated. The site does not sell your files, and it does not require an account.

Corrections and feedback

If a tool gives a wrong result, fails on your device, or is missing a feature you need, please send a note through the contact page. Clear bug reports are the fastest way to improve the site.
